#Rowing: Sanita Puspure and Monika Dukarska both finished fourth in their semi-finals of the women’s single sculls here in the wintry weather at Poznan, Poland.
Puspure’s race had two dominant figures, Magdalena Lobnig of Austria and Duan Jingli of China. Puspure battled Hannah Osborne to take the crucial third place, but the New Zealander came out on top.
Dukarska’s race was similar – Vicky Thornley and Annekatrin Thiele took the top two places with some ease. Dukarska held third behind the Briton and German till the third quarter, where Diana Dymchenko of Ukraine took over.
