The biggest ever Irish Rowing Championships is set to take place this weekend at the National Rowing Centre in Farran, Co Cork.

The 2024 event will span three full days (from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July) and feature an impressive lineup of 916 crews, 51 clubs, 1169 competitors, 216 races, and 54 events. The gathering will draw participants from all corners of the country.

Notably, the largest crew comes from the MJ16 1X event, standing at 64, while the largest crew entry per club stands at 56.

The blue-ribbon event is considered the senior eights event or the big pot. With seven entries in the Mens and four in the Womens events.
