This Saturday (July 28) marks the beginning of the Olympic journey for Irish rowers in Paris.

Both the Men's and Women's Double Sculls are set to compete in their respective heats, aiming for a spot in the semi-finals.

Men's Double Sculls

Phillip Doyle and Daire Lynch | Heat 3 | Lane 3 - 10:50 AM GMT | 11.50 CET

Competitors: Lane 1 – Spain | Lane 2 – France | Lane 4 - Germany

Advancement Criteria:
Places 1 to 3: Progress to the Semi-Final on Tuesday, July 30th, starting from 10:10 AM GMT.
Place 4: Enter the Repêchage on Sunday, July 28th, at 9:20 AM GMT. The top 3 from the Repêchage will also advance to the Semi-Final on Tuesday.

Women's Double Sculls

Alison Bergin and Zoe Hyde | Heat 2 | Lane 1 - 11:10 AM GMT | 12.10 CET

Competitors: Lane 2 Australia | Lane 3 France | Lane 4 Lithuania

Advancement Criteria:
Places 1 to 3: Progress to the Semi-Final on Tuesday, July 30th, starting from 9:50 AM GMT.
Place 4: Enter the Repêchage on Sunday, July 28th, at 9:10 AM GMT. The top 3 from the Repêchage will also advance to the Semi-Final on Tuesday.
