The Department of Transport has been notified by Natural Power on behalf of the Marine Institute that they will undertake a targeted survey in the Irish Sea off the coast of Co Wicklow this week.
This survey will involve the deployment of drop-down video equipment at various survey locations at Arklow Bank. The survey work will take place over two days between Monday 25 and Friday 29 May, subject to weather and operational constraints.
The survey will be conducted by the vessels Fionn Mac Cumhaill (callsign EIA3049) and Rós Áine (callsign EIZG5). Both vessels will display appropriate lights and signals. Mariners are advised to
keep continuous watch on VHF Radio Channel 16 when navigating the relevant area.
