First Cruise Ship Caller to Cork Harbour in Over Two Years Visits Cobh

Cork Beo described brilliant scenes in Cobh this morning when locals welcomed the first cruise ship in over two years.

The port in the town has not seen tourists visiting on cruises since before the pandemic, so it's a big day for everyone in Cobh and it marks another step on the return to normal times.

Borealis (acquired in 2020 by Fred Olsen Cruises) is the first of a number that will dock in Cobh over the next couple of months.

The Borealis has arrived with almost 2,000 passengers on board ready to take in all that the beautiful town has to offer.
