Gardaí recovered the body of a woman from the waters of north Dublin Bay on Tuesday morning (8 October).
As Dublin Live reports, the body was found at Clontarf at around 7am. Gardaí say enquiries are ongoing.
The news came just hours after a woman drowned after getting into difficulty off a popular north Co Dublin beach.
The woman, believed to be in her 60s, was recovered from the water at Portmarnock on Monday afternoon (7 March) by Howth Coast Guard but was pronounced dead after transfer to Beaumont Hospital, according to RTÉ News.
