#Condor102FitOut – Customisation of Condor 102, the Condor Ferries new fast-ferry based n Poole, Dorset, is where Trimline are working to complete an internal fit-out.
Trimline, an interior-design specialist is working on the installation of a new duty free shop, children’s play area, information desk and range of eating and drinking outlets.
Condor 102 which has yet to be renamed following a competition open to Channel Islanders, represents a £50m of investment in securing the future of high speed ferry travel to the Islands.
The team will also finalise the trimarans three new seating lounges for a total of 880 passengers, including two areas for those requiring an upgrade of such accommodation.
The high speed ferry, the first of her kind to operate in Northern Europe, as previously reported on Afloat.ie arrived into Poole on Boxing Day, where crowds welcomed her debut voyage to her new UK homeport.
From the end of March, all journeys operating from Poole to the Channel Islands will be on the new Condor 102, in which her operator, claim the trimaran craft will offer improved reliability, increased capacity and greater level of comfort coupled with smoother journeys.

Trimline has a big job ahead of them over the next few weeks, but with their expert team on hand, we’re confident she will be looking fantastic inside and out ahead of her first sailing to the Channel Islands at the end of March.”
