A public consultation is now open on Bradán Beo Teoranta’s application to cultivate salmon at sites on the foreshore of Kilkieran Bay in Connemara.
A copy of all relevant documents is available for inspection, free of charge, at Clifden Garda Station (open 24 hours) and Carna Garda Station (opening hours vary; contact Clifden Garda Station on 095 22500 for further information).
The same documents are also available on the website of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
Members of the public who wish to make a public submission or observation in writing concerning the additional aquaculture application documentation may do so until the closing date of Tuesday 23 December.
