New Event as Isle of Man Maritime Conference to Take Place on 19th July

A new event taking place in the centre of the Irish Sea will be the first Isle of Man Maritime Conference, which is to be held on Friday 19th July.

The inaugural one-day event is to bring together key players and stakeholders in the maritime industry and provide a platform to discuss pertinent issues and explore opportunities for collaboration and growth.

During the event (8:30am - 5:30pm) will involve several keynote speakers and panel discussions to address some key topics in the maritime world. Themes to be discussed include the state of maritime, crew welfare, safety & training, digital in maritime, environmental, social, and governance (ESG), diversity & inclusion, and more.

The Master of Ceremonies and host will be Dick Welsh (MBE).

In addition, during the conference, there will be a special keynote event in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the RNLI, which was founded on the Isle of Man.

Organising the event is Isle of Man Maritime Ltd, a not for profit organisation, which was formed to develop, support, and promote the Island’s growing maritime sector.
