Foynes Yacht Club’s SRL Frostbite Series on the Shannon Estuary concluded on a high note this year. The final day of racing had a Christmas theme.
Sailors embraced the festive spirit. Many took to the water in colourful costumes, adding to the sense of fun and seasonal cheer.
The light-hearted finale provided a fitting end to another successful Frostbite Series. The event was marked by spirited competition and camaraderie both on and off the water.
“We had great participation and real enjoyment right through the series,” said club commodore Patricia McCormack. “The final day lifted everyone’s spirits.”
The club thanked competitors and volunteers. Plans for future events will be announced in the new year.
