The Revenue Customs Cutter Suirbhéir has been placed on the market by the Revenue Commissioners.
The 23-metre aluminium patrol vessel is currently lying at Kilrush Harbour and is offered for sale “as seen”.
Launched in June 2004, the cutter was built by Finnish shipbuilder Uudenkaupungin Työvene. It remained in active service until late 2025.
Powered by twin 820kW Caterpillar 3412E engines with Twin Disc gearboxes, Suirbhéir has a top speed of 25 knots. A bow thruster supports manoeuvrability.
Fuel capacity exceeds 8,000 litres across three tanks. Two freshwater tanks each hold more than 600 litres.
A hydraulic generator and 34kW Mase auxiliary generator are fitted on board. The vessel also has a shore supply connection.

A stern launch arrangement enables deployment and recovery of RIBs up to 6.2 metres while underway.
Accommodation includes seven berths in one single and three twin cabins. There is a galley and mess area, a shower room and a separate toilet.
Suirbhéir holds a P5 Passenger Boat Licence, an Irish Load Line Certificate and an International Sewage Pollution Prevention Certificate.
The vessel measures 19.58m in length, with an overall length of 21.63m and a beam of 5.41m. Gross tonnage is 65 and net tonnage 19.
The Revenue Commissioners state they “cannot accept any responsibility as to its quality or condition”.
