The boating press will get their first up-close look at Benetau’s new First 30 in a special briefing before doors open to the public at boot Düsseldorf next weekend.
The Samuel Manuard design was first announced in Cannes last September, with Beneteau calling it “an innovative, comfortable, and high-performance boat, designed for those who, like us, constantly push the boundaries in the pursuit of elegance and excellence”.
The First 30 will likely be the busiest sail boat at the world’s largest boat and watersport fair, and James Kirwan and Mike Caplan of Irish Beneteau distributor BJ Marine will be in attendance for the duration to ensure that their Irish and Irish Sea clients get the opportunity to get aboard.

“The boat is delivering across all its design targets, its launch schedule, the boat weight, the interior volume and quality and a remarkable launch price,” James says.

James adds: “We look forward to welcoming onboard all who travel, in particular Afloat readers!”
