With the new season fast approaching, Quantum Sails Ireland has just announced a new 10% spring discount for sails ordered by the end of March. An average delivery time of 8 weeks allows sails to be delivered before most boats go afloat.

Already Quantum sails have made a big impact in Ireland with an increased market share each year, with race boats such as Samatom, Grand Soleil 44, Aja, the Cape 31, Ghostraider J/111, Indian, Something else, Tighy Boy, Artful Dodger (all J/109s), Jelly Baby (J122) all using Quantum sails for racing, among others.

Of course, racing is only part of the picture, with cruising boats all over Ireland springing up with new Quantum upwind and downwind sails.

Mark Mansfield, Quantum Sails Ireland, outlines a combination of a quality product, competitive pricing and a great knowledgeable and personal service provided by himself and Yannick Lemonnier that brings new clients to Quantum Sails in Ireland.

We've got a favour to ask

More people are reading Afloat.ie than ever thanks to the power of the internet but we're in stormy seas because advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news sites, we haven’t put up a paywall because we want to keep our marine journalism open.

Afloat.ie is Ireland's only full–time marine journalism team and it takes time, money and hard work to produce our content.

So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

If everyone chipped in, we can enhance our coverage and our future would be more secure. You can help us through a small donation. Thank you.
