Ben Grigg has been appointed as the new Programme Director of ICOMIA, focusing on innovation and sustainability in the marine industry.

Ben Grigg has been appointed as the new Programme Director of the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA), effective immediately. His extensive career in the marine sector includes significant experience in strategic development and collaborative projects.

This appointment is a key move for ICOMIA as it aims to strengthen global partnerships and enhance its programmes focused on sustainability and safety in the recreational marine industry.

Ben has previously held senior roles and offered consultancy to various leading brands in the leisure marine sector. His skills in programme design and stakeholder engagement are expected to play a crucial role in ICOMIA’s growth and influence.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ben to the ICOMIA leadership team,” said Joe Lynch, CEO of ICOMIA. “His deep understanding of the marine industry and proven leadership will be invaluable for our strategic objectives.”

As Programme Director, Ben will oversee project governance and manage crucial initiatives for the association.

“I’m honoured to join ICOMIA at such a dynamic time for the marine industry,” said Grigg. “I look forward to collaborating with our team to advance innovation and environmental responsibility in our sector.”

Ireland is represented at ICOMIA by the Irish Marine Federation.
