The Barcelona International Boat Show will return to Port Vell from 14 to 18 October with an expanded programme designed to appeal to a broader boating audience. Now in its 63rd edition, Spain's leading boating exhibition will introduce new exhibition spaces, hands-on activities and water sports experiences under the SeaMotion banner.

A new covered pavilion at Moll de la Fusta will host the Diving, Shopping & Water Sports area, marking the return of scuba diving to the show. The feature will bring together diving destinations, training schools, manufacturers, equipment suppliers and distributors from around the world. Visitors will also be able to take part in introductory diving sessions and educational workshops promoting safe and responsible diving.

The show is also adding a Marinas & Harbour Facilities zone within its indoor pavilion, where marinas and ports will present their services and facilities.

A new Experience Water area at Moll de la Fusta will offer visitors the chance to try a range of nautical leisure activities. Highlights include demonstrations of a fully electric jet ski, exhibitor showcases and dinghy sailing experiences organised with the Catalan Sailing Federation.

Organised by Fira de Barcelona in partnership with the Spanish National Marine Industry Association (ANEN), the event is expected to showcase the latest developments across the recreational boating sector. More than 130 brands have already confirmed their attendance, with displays ranging from sports boats to motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans.
