J/Boats teamed up with UK and Ireland sales agents Key Yachting yesterday for a live video interview with current J/Boats president Jeff Johnstone on the new new J/99, writes Mark Mansfield.

The J/99 is the latest design and in many respects is considered truly innovative as a J/Boat.

Hull #40 has just been delivered to J/Boats co-founder Rod Johnstone, and nearly 50 boats have been delivered worldwide to date — which speaks to its pedigree as a true all-round cruiser racer.

The interview, hosted by Kay Yachting UK sales director Hannah Le Prevost, included detailed pictures, video and the latest updates on the J/99.

Broadcast on Facebook Live yesterday (Thursday 30 April), the interview is now available to watch back below:

For enquiries about the J/99 or any of the J/Boats range, contact Irish agent Mark Mansfield at [email protected] or at +353 (0)87 250 6838.

We've got a favour to ask

More people are reading Afloat.ie than ever thanks to the power of the internet but we're in stormy seas because advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news sites, we haven’t put up a paywall because we want to keep our marine journalism open.

Afloat.ie is Ireland's only full–time marine journalism team and it takes time, money and hard work to produce our content.

So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

If everyone chipped in, we can enhance our coverage and our future would be more secure. You can help us through a small donation. Thank you.
