Dubarry has launched a new range of waterproof sailing trainers aimed at delivering grip, comfort and support both on and offshore. The trainers are designed for active sailing and watersports use, combining lightweight construction with quick-drying performance and enhanced deck traction.
Dubarry said the footwear features synthetic mesh and TPU uppers with anti-odour and anti-microbial treatment to improve durability and comfort during extended use afloat.
Open-mesh ventilation panels are included to increase breathability and flexibility while maintaining protection from spray and wet conditions. A waterproof lining and removable cushioned insole are designed to keep feet dry and provide additional support throughout the day.
The trainers also feature Dubarry’s NonSlip-NonMarking™ outsole technology, which uses water-dispersion channels to reduce the risk of aquaplaning on deck surfaces.
The company said the sporty bi-compound sole unit includes a lightweight EVA midsole intended to improve cushioning and stability during movement onboard. Flexible mesh uppers and an agile sole construction are designed to help sailors maintain traction and respond quickly in changing conditions.
Additional features include Dubarry’s signature finger pull tape for easier fitting and removal. The new trainers form part of the company’s wider sailing and marine performance footwear range.
