RYA Northern Ireland Partners With Disability Sport NI to Achieve Inclusive Sports Award

The initiative is one of a number of steps RYANI has taken to make sailing and boating more inclusive

RYA Northern Ireland has announced its partnership with Disability Sport NI to achieve the Inclusive Sports Award.

This award “recognises a commitment to ensuring that sailing and boating is a welcoming, accessible and inclusive sport for everyone,” RYANI says.

The initiative is one of a number of steps RYANI has taken to make sailing and boating more inclusive in the Northern Ireland region.

These include the appointment of a dedicated sailability officer in Oran Young, which means RYANI will be able to work more closely with clubs and sailability centres, helping them to improve their accessibility or assisting them in boosting membership.
