The 17th edition of the RORC Caribbean 600 begins off Fort Charlotte, Antigua, on Monday 23 February 2026.
A fleet of 56 boats with 500 sailors will race 600 nautical miles around 11 Caribbean islands, starting and finishing in English Harbour.
The first warning signal is scheduled for 1050 Atlantic Standard Time (1500 UTC), with the opening start at 1100 AST.
The race will take the fleet north to the Anguilla Channel and south to Les Saintes off Guadeloupe. Boats will pass Barbuda, Nevis, St Kitts, Saba, St Barth’s, Montserrat and Redonda in a non-stop offshore challenge.
A preview video released by the Royal Ocean Racing Club features interviews with competitors and race officials, onboard and drone footage, and scenes from the dockside build-up in Antigua.
Chris Jackson, Race Director, appears in the opening segment alongside leading competitors including Rocco Falcone (Falcon), Tristan Le Brun (Black Jack 100), Dee Caffari and Annemieke Bes (WaveWalker), and Jon Desmond (Final Final – Zoulou).
The proposed start sequence begins at 1100 AST for IRC Two and CSA Only, followed by IRC One at 1110, IRC Zero and Class40 at 1120, IRC Super Zero at 1130, and Multihulls at 1140.
