The Famous Project CIC is expected to complete its round-the-world voyage on Monday afternoon (January 26th.
The maxi trimaran IDEC SPORT is forecast to cross the finish line off Ushant between 13:00 and 16:00 CET.
Following the finish, the yacht is due to enter Brest around four hours later.
The crew is expected to dock at Quai Malbert.
The final approach comes after a demanding passage across the Bay of Biscay.
The team has continued despite losing its mainsail earlier in the voyage.
Over the past 24 hours, the crew averaged close to 16 knots.
They alternated between staysail and jib as conditions changed.
Stronger winds are forecast near the Rochebonne plateau.
North-north-westerly gusts of up to 45 knots are expected.
The eight sailors represent seven nationalities.
They aim to become the first all-female crew to circumnavigate the globe on a multihull.
Skipper Alexia Barrier praised fellow sailors completing a separate record attempt.
“We send Thomas Coville and the crew on board Sodebo our heartfelt congratulations,” she said. “It is historic, extraordinary.”
Live coverage of the arrival is expected to be shared on The Famous Project CIC’s social media channels.
