SailGP returns to New York this weekend for the sixth round of the 2026 Rolex SailGP Championship. The Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix takes place on 30-31 May, with racing set against the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty.
More than 6,000 spectators are expected on the Hudson River waterfront for two days of high-speed foiling action and entertainment. Twelve international teams will compete as identical F50 catamarans race at speeds of up to 60mph. The New Zealand Black Foils remain absent while repairs continue on their F50.

The U.S. SailGP Team heads into its home event in fourth place overall and is targeting a podium finish in front of local supporters.
Spain’s Los Gallos arrive second in the standings after a strong recovery from missing the Perth opener due to severe boat damage sustained in training.
Germany also heads to New York with renewed confidence following its first event final appearance of the season in Bermuda.
Racing on the Hudson is expected to test crews with shifting winds, strong currents and tight race boundaries demanding rapid tactical decisions. The New York event marks the halfway stage of the 2026 championship season, with teams chasing points ahead of the summer schedule.
