Christian Beck's 100-foot supermaxi InfoTrack, formerly LawConnect, will return to the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race under its former sponsor's name this December, seeking a third consecutive line honours victory for Beck's team.
The technology company has reclaimed naming rights after four years, announcing a charity partnership with Starlight Children's Foundation and a high-profile ambassador for its 2026 campaign.
The yacht won line honours as LawConnect in 2023 and 2024. It previously won the race as Perpetual LOYAL in 2016, before Beck's ownership.
InfoTrack will compete against Anthony Bell's Tribeca LOYAL, Grant Wharington's Wild Thing 100 and Mark Richards's Palm Beach XI for the Illingworth Challenge Cup, awarded to the first yacht to finish in Hobart. Afloat recently reported on the four-boat maxi contest.

Beck, InfoTrack's founder and the yacht's owner and skipper, said the return of the company name marked a new chapter for the supermaxi.
“This year, we’re bringing the InfoTrack name back to the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race using our technology to bring people closer to the race and support Starlight Children’s Foundation,” Beck said.
“This is the people’s boat. We want everyone to feel part of the race, whether they’re watching us live from onboard the InfoTrack SuperMaxi, following the crew from start to finish or donating to Starlight.”
The campaign, titled Sailing for a Purpose, will raise funds for Starlight Children's Foundation, which supports seriously ill children and their families.
Australian television personality Matty J, named Australian Father of the Year 2026, will join the 21-strong crew for the sailing season and the Sydney Hobart race. A Starlight ambassador since 2024, he said learning to sail had been his New Year's resolution.
“Being part of the ‘Sailing for a Purpose’ campaign is a unique opportunity to help make a real difference, and I can't wait to get out on the water with the crew,” he said.

Starlight CEO Louise Baxter welcomed the partnership, saying it would give race-goers an opportunity to support the charity's work.
InfoTrack CEO John Ahern said the yacht would showcase technology and innovation, with an extensive onboard camera system providing live coverage, including overnight footage for international audiences.
The four 100-footers are expected to provide a major contest at the front of the fleet as they race south from Sydney Harbour, across Bass Strait and towards the finish on Tasmania's River Derwent.
