The upcoming ICRA Conference and AGM will highlight both its prestigious 2024 Boat of the Year awards.
In the ECHO category, the inaugural winner is Impetuous, hailing from Howth Yacht Club. As Afloat reported, this well-campaigned Corby 25, owned by Fergal Noonan and Robert Chambers, has made history as the first recipient of this new award introduced by the national cruiser-racing body.

And in a further noteworthy achievement, Swuzzlebubble from Royal Cork Yacht Club successfully retained the IRC title. Owned by David and James Dwyer, the Half Tonner continues to showcase its prowess, having secured the ICRA IRC Boat of the Year trophy following a strong performance in the recent Autumn Leagues.
As the sailing community gathers for the Conference & AGM, ICRA recently announced two keynote speakers as Afloat reports here. The 2025 conference is scheduled for Saturday, 15th February, at the National Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.
