After a weekend of action off the Arklow coast, the Musto ISORA 2024 Series has a new overall leader.

The Welsh J122 Mojito has taken the lead, but only by half a point from the smaller J109 Ruth of the Shanahan family from Dun Laoghaire.

39 boats are entered in the series, and the five best results of 13 races are counted so far, out of a total of 16, with three races left to sail before the overall champion is crowned.

Peter Dunlop and Victoria Cox's new Mojito (they moved up from a J109 to the J122 this season) now has a 492.5 points total compared to the 492 of Tom Shanahan's crew.

The weekend saw Ruth win the race from Dun Laoghaire to Arklow on Saturday and Mojito winning Sunday's Arklow Sailing Club Windmills ISORA fixture.

One-time leader Alan Hannon's JPK 1030 Coquine sustained rudder damage over the weekend and is now placed third overall.

The reigning champion, Rockabill VI, is lying tenth.
