After winning races five and six on Wednesday, Ireland's 2 Farr crew leads the In Advance Half Ton Classics Cup 24 in Nieuwport, Belgium.
The Boardman, O'Leary, and Kelly partnership, drawn from Rush and Baltimore, has built a 3.1 margin over one-time leader Norway's Espen Kamperhaug in King One since Monday over a mix of windward-leeward and round-the-cans races.
Skippered by Rush Sailing Club's Patrick Boardman and helmed by Robert O'Leary of Baltimore Sailing Club the 2 Farr crew from Rush is David Kelly, Riaghan Boardman, Aisling Kelly, Patrick Kelly, David Jr Kelly and Cian Hickey.
With three wins so far, the Class Two Cork Week champion from July counts 1,4,2,1,1 to lead King One with (3,2,1, 3, 5.5 ).
So far conditions have been light to medium on the Koninklijke Yacht Club race track. The last two races of the championships are scheduled for Thursday and Friday.
Lying third is local entry Tom Florizoone in Red Cloud.
Howth's John Swan has moved up from seventh to fifth in the impressive 30-boat vintage fleet.
