Royal St. George's Max O'Hare (14) emerged as the winner of the senior fleet in a cut-short Optimist dinghy Munsters Championships at Royal Cork Yacht Club over the weekend.
No racing was held on Saturday due to high winds in Cork Harbour.
Race Officer Peter Crowley started early on Sunday, but a steady breeze did not fill in on the Curlane Bank until lunchtime, allowing three races to be sailed.
O'Hare was four points clear of clubmate Maeve Donagh (13) at the top of the 41-boat senior fleet. A third RSYGYC sailor, Holly Cantwell (13), took third.
