Sean Murphy and Jack O'Sullivan, who were tied on points overnight, emerged as the overall winners of the Squib keelboat Southern Championships at Kinsale Yacht Club in County Cork.
Racing on home waters, the pairing overhauled the leaders, father and son duo, Michael O'Suilleabhain and Michael O'Sullivan, when they scored 3, 2, 1 in the final races of the six-race championship on Sunday to be on nine points.

Ian Travers and Keith O'Riordan finished runners-up, one point behind on 10. The O'Suilleabhains were third on 14.
With entries from Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club on Belfast Lough, Howth Yacht Club in Dublin and Lough Derg Yacht Club for the Frank Clark-sponsored event, the host club took the top four places, with the top visitors being Cultra's Greg Bell and Roger Pannell in fifth.
