Banshee leads the standings after three races in the ongoing Kinsale Yacht Club Squib Frostbites series.

Seventeen boats raced in light north-westerly winds, with a strong ebb tide shaping tactics throughout the afternoon.

The fleet initially worked the western shore before turning back towards the windward mark.

Matthias Hellstern and Alex Goggin sit top on six points following two race wins.

Mucky Duck, sailed by Cliodhna Ní Shuilleabháin and Michael O’Sullivan, holds second overall on ten points.

Allegro, with Colm Dunne helming and Rob Gill crewing, lies third after a consistent opening set.

Racing was conducted off Kinsale, with marks set to test fleet positioning against the tide.

Results are provisional as of 14:48 on January 25, 2026, with the Frostbite league continuing in the coming weeks.
