Banshee remains in pole position in the Kinsale Yacht Club Frostbites Squib Fleet following nine races.

Helmed by Matthias Hellstern with crew Alex Goggin, Banshee has recorded consistent results and sits at the top with a nett score of 13.

Allegro, sailed by Colm Dunne and Rob Gill, is in second place with 20 points, just one ahead of third-placed Fifty Shades, helmed by James Matthews.

“Mild but shifting winds kept racing tactical,” said a KYC race officer.

Mucky Duck drops to fourth, with Fagin rounding out the top five.

Seventeen boats are competing, and the fleet is racing under Appendix A scoring, with two discards now applied.

The results are provisional as of 15:22 on February 8 and may change as the series continues.
