Monkstown Bay Sailing Club says it had a "great turnout" for the first race of the October Dinghy League on Saturday (Oct 12) in Cork Harbour.
Ronan Kenneally won Class 1 in his Laser 7 with Ewen Barry and Sandy Rimmington second in a Fireball and Brian Jones crewed by Gary Frost third in a 505. Nineteen boats are entered in the class.
Winner of Class Two were Harry Coole and Jack Ryan sailing an RS Feva XL. Eve Roberts in a Laser 4.7 was second and Eadaoin Farrell in another ILCA 4 third.
