Rob Craigie skippered the Sun Fast 3600 Sun Fast 3600 Bellino to the overall win in the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) 2025 Season’s Points Championship, marking a third successive triumph.
Racing two‑handed with Deb Fish, Craigie claimed the top spot under the IRC handicap rule.
“Stick to what works, keep the boat reliable, keep the programme active,” said Craigie, reflecting on the campaign.
Bellino’s adaptability in mixed offshore conditions proved decisive as the duo topped a global fleet spanning six continents.
They retained the prestigious Jazz Trophy while fending off strong competition such as Géry Trentesaux aboard Long Courrier and Simon Toms on Zephyr.
Craigie and Fish dominated the overall chart by focusing on consistency across 16 eligible races, using only their best five results in each IRC class.
The result underscores the pairing’s position at the summit of UK offshore racing and highlights their proficiency in shorthanded race strategy.
Craigie added: “We’re not chasing the biggest boat or the fastest one — we’re chasing a programme that delivers every time.”
With the 2025 season concluded, attention now turns to the RORC Centenary Dinner, where award winners and special recognition will be announced.
