The Royal St George Yacht Club retained the Cannonball Team Racing Trophy after a weekend of racing in Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
Hosted by the Royal London Yacht Club, the annual event brought together teams from Royal St George, the Royal Netherlands Yacht Club and the Royal London Yacht Club for two days of racing in Osborne Bay beneath Osborne House on the eastern Solent.
Twelve races were completed over the weekend. Royal St George won six races to secure overall victory and retain the trophy ahead of the Royal Netherlands Yacht Club and the Royal London Yacht Club.
Colours Aloft — The Irish tricolour flies outside the Royal London Yacht Club in Cowes during the 2026 Cannonball Team Racing Trophy, won by Royal St George Yacht Club after a closely fought 12-race series.
The winning Royal St George team comprised Peter Bowring, John O'Connor, Max Treacy, Adam Smyth, Marcus Pearson, Tim Pearson, Neil Hegarty and Charlie Bolger.
The Cannonball Trophy is contested annually between the three clubs and has become a regular fixture in their team racing calendar.
