Nauticomp, manufacturers of marine display screen equipment, have introduced LED backlight models to its Signature II series and Glass Bridge Displays® series at METS 2009. The introduction of the new LED backlight models will provide users with enhanced picture quality, increased operational reliability and extended product lifespan all within a compact and easy to use display unit.
Signature II – Based on the popular Nauticomp Signature series, the latest display screens offer a cost-effective solution for sunlight applications. The anti-glare bonded glass is optically enhanced to reduce reflection from the sun and maximise clarity of the display, while the detailed dimming dial enables users to adjust brightness settings on the fly. Furthermore, the Signature II series features Nauticomp's renowned dim to red technology for exceptional night viewing.
The Signature's slim case design enables a larger display unit to be installed into a more confined helm space. The screen also allows multiple inputs for DVI, VGA, NTSC, PAL and SECAM.
Prices start from Stg£3,806.28 excluding VAT (UK RRP) for 15" Signature II LED backlight display.
Glass Bridge Displays® – Housing the industry's largest screen in the smallest chassis frame, Nauticomp's Glass Bridge Displays® have been designed for flush mount. The displays are extremely multifunctional with each including ten source inputs, which can all be viewed in the PIP (picture in picture) window.
The Glass Bridge Displays® series is available as 'daylight' or 'sunlight' displays, which have been optically bonded to reduce sunlight reflection and maximise clarity of the display. For night viewing, dim to red technology is available for all inputs.
Prices start from Stg£4,430.84 excluding VAT (UK RRP) for 15" Glass Bridge LED backlight display.
Designed specifically for the marine environment, Nauticomp display screens provide customers with high quality, reliable and easy to use equipment, even in the toughest marine conditions.
