Emirates has renewed its naming sponsorship of Emirates Team New Zealand. The extension runs through the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup and all Preliminary Regattas. The partnership first began in 2004. It is one of the longest‑running in international sailing.

Emirates Team New Zealand defended the America’s Cup in 2024 in Barcelona. It was the first team in history to win three consecutive Cups.  Under the new deal, Emirates remains the lead sponsor and retains naming rights. The airline remains the official airline and carrier for the team.

The Emirates logo will appear on the mainsails of ETNZ yachts, chase boats, tenders, team bases and crew uniforms. It will also feature on AC75 hulls. Emirates branding will also be visible across the team's digital, social, and broadcast coverage.

Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, said the original 2004 meeting in Auckland led to a long partnership. “By lifting the Auld Mug for a third consecutive time, Emirates Team New Zealand has charted a course no team has achieved before,” he added.

Grant Dalton, Chief Executive of Emirates Team New Zealand, said the team was “delighted” to continue with Emirates as naming sponsor. He said the partnership gives the team “enormous confidence” ahead of the next defence.

The Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup will see AC75 class yachts compete. The Challenger Selection Series will determine who races the Defender in the Cup Match. Further details on schedules and venues will be announced later.

Emirates began services to New Zealand in 2003. The airline now operates daily A380 flights to Auckland and services to Christchurch via Sydney. Beyond ETNZ, Emirates supports sailing globally. This includes SailGP and the Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team.

Emirates also maintains a broad global sports sponsorship portfolio. This spans horse racing, golf, cricket, tennis, basketball, cycling, Australian rules football and major football clubs.
