The National Yacht Club's on form J/112e, skippered by Johnny Treanor, leads Volvo Cork Week's IRC coastal fleet after a successful race on Tuesday and a winning margin of over four minutes on corrected time.
Treanor, with Irish professional Maurice O'Connell on board, had also won Monday's first race, which was later scrubbed over a scrubbed over a missing mark of the course.
Valentina comes to Crosshaven after scooping the IRC Zero prizes in the hotly contested Royal Irish and Royal St. George Regattas on Dublin Bay this month and last.

In a show of strength for the X-Yachts brand, the host club's Paul and Deirdre Tingle in the X4 Alpaca lie second to Murray Findlay's Clyde Cruising Club X4.3, Xaviera.
