Kinsale Yacht Club's Kildare Innovation Campus 2025 Sovereign’s Cup has published the Notice of Race and taking entries for the event that will run from the 25th to 28th of June next year in West Cork.

This edition of the Sovereign’s Cup holds special significance, as it will incorporate the 2025 Irish Cruiser Racing Association (ICRA) Nationals, drawing some of the best sailors and crews from across the country and beyond.

To encourage early registration, the organisers are offering generous early bird discounts, as well as entry into a prize draw for entries received in December. A key highlight is the decision to offer free entry to all Under-25 boats, underscoring the club’s commitment to supporting and fostering youth sailing.

More people are reading Afloat.ie than ever thanks to the power of the internet but we're in stormy seas because advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news sites, we haven't put up a paywall because we want to keep our marine journalism open.

Afloat.ie is Ireland's only full-time marine journalism team and it takes time, money and hard work to produce our content.

So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

If everyone chipped in, we can enhance our coverage and our future would be more secure. You can help us through a small donation. Thank you.
