The current entry list for the Sovereign's Cup at the end of this month stands at 95, according to Kinsale Yacht Club.

In an update to members about the event, which will run from June 25-28, the club says that "it will be the largest Sovereign’s Cup for some time."

"Boats will race in one of three fleets with separate classes in each fleet for Spinnaker Classes 1, 2 and 3. Non-Spinnaker Classes 1 and 2 and also Coastal Classes 1 and 2.

"On the second day of racing, Thursday 26th, all boats will race in the Jeannot Petch feature race, which will see all boats start west of Hake Head and head around the Large Sovereign Isle, around the old Head to Black Tom and back to the finish in the harbour."
