2024's superstar J/109 Outrajeous (Johnny & Suzie Murphy, HYC) has maintained her form and then some in Class One IRC of the 2025 Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta, winning the final race to close on a total of 6 points with four firsts and a second after discarding that sudden shock 4th in the opening race.

Barry Cunningham's sister-ship Chimaera (RIYC) has emerged as the alternative superstar J/109 in this series. Admittedly, she did draw on 16 points at the conclusion with clubmate John Maybury's sister-ship Joker 2, but Chimaera had it on the break.
Bobby Kerr's Riders on the Storm is the ECHO Winner
The J/109s had a treble tie for the overall win at the ECHO finish on 14 points for Bobby Kerr's Riders on the Storm, the Goodbody family's White Mischief (both RIYC), and the Bourke syndicate's Dear Prudence, but the tie break listed them in that order in the final overall lineup.
