Re-building the classic Mylne-designed Dublin Bay 24 Zephyra at The Apprenticeshop in Maine has been so educationally rewarding that they took five years to do the job. This was in order to allow as many
trainees as possible to be involved "in a near-perfect learning process".
But eventually they could delay the launch of this exquisitely-finished gem no longer, and images have been posted of Zephyra taking to the water and making way under power. We await photos of her sailing, meanwhile it's intriguing to note that she flies the ensign of the Royal Irish Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire, last seen in Maine waters when the late Michael O'Flaherty's McGruer ketch Cuilaun spent some summers "Down East"
