The 3-in-a-row J24 European Champions, Headcase, aim to defend their title at the J24 Eastern Championships at Wicklow Sailing Club on 16-17 August.
The home team and 2024 ICRA Class 3 Champions, Jupiter, who were second last year and recently dominated Class Three IRC at last week's VDLR, will be participating. 2024 IRC Europeans Class 3 Champions, Hard On Port, will also be contesting the event.
“Hosting the J24 Class for the second year is an honour,” said event organiser Conor Haughton.
Sailors will arrive on 15 August from across Ireland. This event marks the last stop before many boats head to the J24 World Championships in Plymouth from 6-14 September.
Last year's competition featured light winds and challenging tides. Headcase won, followed by Jupiter and Hard On Port in second and third places, respectively.
