Slingshot and Nacho are Tied at the Top in Royal Cork National 18 April League

It's tight at the top after the second night of the National 18 April League 2025 at Royal Cork Yacht Club that sees Slingshot and Nacho on equal points at the top of the scoreboard.

Paddy Crosbie, helming in place of Nick Walsh, and the regular Rob Brownlow and Eddie Rice team on Peaky Blinders were clear winners of the second night with a 2,1,1 scored in the eight-boat fleet.

Winds in Cork Harbour were northwesterly at 10 to 12 knots.

Overall, after nine races sailed with one discard, Andrew Woodward's Slingshot leads from Charles Dwyer in Nacho, both on 26 points, with Harry Prichard's KnotForSale one point adrift. 27.

The league represents an important buildup to the National Championships in Baltimore on June 7th and 8th.

Tom Dwyer, Ger Peretti and Paul Crowley were the race officer team for the second night's races.
