Jon Partridge has stepped down as Managing Director of RS Sailing after 25 years with the company.
Partridge, who joined RS Sailing in the late 1990s, rose to joint CEO in 2015. He helped steer the company through major challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
He played a key role in expanding RS Sailing internationally, building a global dealer network and bringing RS boats to new markets.
Partridge was also instrumental in developing the RS Feva class, now recognised as the world’s leading junior double-handed dinghy.
“Jon’s energy and passion have shaped RS fleets and communities worldwide,” said an RS Sailing spokesperson.
While stepping back from day-to-day operations, Partridge will remain with the company in a consultancy role during the transition.
RS Sailing thanked him for his “extraordinary commitment” and noted that he will always be a “valued part of the RS story.”
