Following the recent Irish East Coast Squib Championships, where no racing took place due to high winds and 1.7-metre waves, Vincent Delany's 'unofficial' Squib ladder has been updated to reflect the last four championship results from:
- Easterns in Royal St George YC in September 2024
- Inlands in Lough Derg YC in October 2024
- Northerns in Killyleagh YC in May 2025.
- Nationals in Lough Derg YC in June 2025.
- Southerns in Kinsale YC in July 2025.
Ian Travers and Keith O'Riordan's 'Atomic' from Kinsale YC sit at the top of the table with a substantial lead over second-placed Vincent Delany and Joe O'Byrne's 'Femme Fatale' from Royal St. George YC and Lough Derg YC, who lie in second place, far above their average championship results, because they have attended all available events.
Irish Champion is Michael O'Suilleabhain, and Michael O'Sullivan's 'Mucky Duck' from Kinsale YC lies in 6th place despite three brilliant championship finishes.
One anomaly in the results is Tom Jeffcoate and Mark Hogan's 'Ric O'Shea' from South Caernarvonshire YC, who were overall winners of the Irish Championship and UK Nationals. They lie in 26th place, having competed in only one event.
