Wednesday evening's (June 3rd) Water Wag racing on Dublin Bay has been cancelled due to forecast strong and gusty westerly winds.

The decision was taken following discussions between Race Officer Harry Gallagher and the Water Wag racing committee.

The scheduled DMYC Regatta Water Wag race will now be rescheduled for another Wednesday evening later in the season.

While the Water Wag fleet has enjoyed strong participation during the opening weeks of the 2026 season, Wednesday's forecast conditions were deemed unsuitable for racing the historic one-design class.
