Davy O'Connell Secures July Dinghy League Title at Monkstown Bay

With a total of 17 points over the seven races, Davy O'Connell added yet another league title to his string of successes at Monkstown Bay Sailing Club when he won the July League, which concluded this week.

Sailing his ILCA/Laser 7, Davy has been to the fore in Laser racing in the club for many seasons and continues to lead the fleet. His record for the league included a first place, a second, two thirds, two fourths, and a seventh in the last race of the league.

In another Laser 7, Tim O'Connor was three points behind in second place.

The Laser II duo of Judy Monihan and Therese Loesberg were third.
