A 23-boat Royal Cork Yacht Club dinghy frostbite series is underway in Crosshaven with 28 competitors across ILCA 4, ILCA6/RS Aero and a mixed dinghy fleet.
Three races were sailed in light winds on November 3rd. Racing is set to continue on the 10th, 17th, and 24th and finish up on Saturday the 30th, for a potential of fifteen races in total.
Royal Cork Yacht Club's Craig O'Neill tops the ten-boat ILCA 4 fleet by a single point from clubmate Andrew O'Neill on eight. Third is another RCYC sailor, Blake Vaughan, on 13.

In an eight-boat ILCA 6 fleet/RS Aero fleet, Phillip Doherty leads by two points in an ILCA 6 from Sophie Crosbie in an RS Aero 5 on 6. Lying third is Cove Sailing Club's Gabriel Le Donne on 11.

In a five-boat ILCA 7 fleet, national champion Andrew Kingston leads on four points from Jonathan O'Shaughnessy on five. Third is Michael Crosbie on ten.

In the five-boat Mixed Dinghies fleet, Oisin Pierce and Fionn Daly (pictured top) are clear ahead after three wins in a 49er FX from Stephen O'Brien's RS 200. Lying third is the 420 duo, Billy Mallin and Matt Mapplebeck.
