The air was filled with excitement and encouragement, showcasing the community spirit that characterizes this beloved tradition.
Thanks to dedicated volunteers, including kayakers, paddle boarders, and rescue crews, the event ran smoothly, ensuring everyone’s safety during the swim. After emerging from the brisk water, participants were treated to warm tea, coffee, and delicious mince pies and biscuits provided by the shore teams, warming them up after their refreshing experience.
The swim not only celebrated the holiday spirit but also successfully raised just over £1000, providing much-needed funds for the RNLI.
