Registration is now open for IFA Aquaculture’s annual general meeting (AGM) next week.
Minister of State for Fisheries Timmy Dooley will address the AGM for fish and shellfish farmers on April 13th.
The event takes place in the Radisson Hotel, Athlone, and a full agenda and information have been issued to IFA Aquaculture members.
The National Strategic Plan for Sustainable Aquaculture Implementation Steering Group is due to give a presentation that afternoon on “a selection of the actions from the National Strategic Plan and how they are being implemented”.
These include satellite imagery in aquaculture, emerging aquatech and a “social license” report.
IFA Aquaculture says that questions and feedback on the presentations are welcome.
