Kinsale Yacht Club Hosts Webinar Ahead of Sovereign's Cup

Kinsale Yacht Club hosts a pre-event webinar on June 17, offering essential tips for the Sovereigns Cup. Get race-ready with expert insights ahead of the competition from June 25 to 28.

Kinsale Yacht Club is hosting a Webinar this evening (Tuesday, 17th June) to inform and discuss matters relating to its 95-boat Sovereign's Cup in ten days' time. 

As Afloat reported earlier, the aim is to provide information for skippers, tacticians, and crew leads preparing for the event.

"We're hosting a dedicated Webinar to help get race-ready and make the most of time in Kinsale," the club has announced.

This will be by Zoom on Tuesday, June 17, from 7 to 8 p.m.

"The session will be packed with essential information, expert tips and a chance to ask your questions ahead of one of the most anticipated events on the Irish sailing calendar. Our experienced panel will guide you through: Arrival Logistics: Where to go, what to bring, and when to get there; Regatta Format; Understand the schedule, courses and scoring systems;.What to expect from local conditions, tides and tactics in this sailing area.
