Kinsale Hosts National 420 Dinghy Sailing Week

Fifty of the best young sailors in the country, from eight different clubs, descended on Kinsale Yacht Club for the 420 Association national sailing week over mid-term.

A top coaching team led by David Harte engaged the sailors with theory, coaching and plenty of racing.

KYC was represented by Rory Wilson, Caoimhe Corkery and Matthew Thuillier.

After glorious sunshine sailing in blustery conditions, Caoimhe Corkery, crewed by Henrietta Leech, finished 5th overall, and Matthew Thuillier, crewed by Harry Coole, won the prestigious Currabinny Cup.
